About Ricky Lee Warren...

Ricky Lee Warren, 47, of Burlington died at 5:44 p.m. on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.

Born March 12, 1963 in LaHarpe, Illinois he was the son of Lloyd Dale Huss Jr. and Marilyn Warren.

Mr. Warren was a bartender many years ago, also worked at Tabor Burns Box Company and did construction work.

Ricky enjoyed fishing, camping, mowing, going to auctions and buying cars. He occasionally enjoyed drinking and enjoyed having a good time with family and friends. He always had Kathy by his side.

Survivors include his father Lloyd Dale Huss Jr. of Carman, Illinois; his mother, Marilyn Warren of Burlington; his lifelong companion Kathy Shaffer of Burlington; one son, Eric Shaffer of Burlington; several grandchildren; two sisters, Carol Rolland of Lomax, Illinois and Almeda “Dottie” (Joe) Huss of Burlington; two brothers, Lloyd Huss III of Burlington and Cecil Huss of Carman; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. today in Lunning Chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

The funeral service for Mr. Warren will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 16th, in Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Ken Petersen officiating.
Interment will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery.

A memorial has been established for the family in memory of Ricky.
