August 6, 1919 - November 23, 2009
Roy John Buser age 90, died Monday, November 23, at Veterans Medical Center in Knoxville, Iowa. A Memorial Service will be 7:00 PM Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at Grandon Funeral and Cremation Care 414 Lincoln Way Ames with interment at Iowa Veterans Cemetery in Adel on December 9, 2009.

Roy grew up in New York City and served in the United States Army in WW II and in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Roy loved his country and served it with pride. He retired from Nationwide Insurance Company in the 1980’s. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge #120 in Frutia, CO. as well as the Scottish Rite.

Roy is survived by his wife Lois Buser of Ames, his daughters Linda (David) Buser Smith of Scottsdale, AZ and Emily (Lee) Jachter of Morrison, CO. and three grandchildren, Nicole, Lorin Elizabeth, and Matthew, and three great grandchildren, Katherine,Conrad, and Savannah.

My Father in Law was a good man, with moral ways and standards. He maintained his charachter to the end. He always took care of his wife and family.
