LaMoine A. Balch, 92, of Fort Dodge, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Brother Delmer Brower officiating. Burial will follow in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and prior to the funeral service on Wednesday at Fosters.
Survivors include her children, Leon (Angie) Balch of Carona, CA, Alice (Dick) Spitler of Webster City, Anna Beadle and Earl Balch both of Fort Dodge, Jerry (Mary) Balch of Estherville, Sue Lewis of Eugene, OR, Ben Balch of Fort Dodge; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; her brother, Robert (Shirley) Wolter of Fort Dodge; sister, Patricia Hamann of Tulsa, OK; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Balch was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin O. Balch on August, 20, 1966. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Barnhart and Anna Wolter; and great grandsons, James and Joshua Spitler.
