Tributes

"Alex, My husband and I were friends of your Mom and Dad's many years ago. I am sorry to hear of his death. We were newlyweds together, the 4 of us,and spent many evenings in one of our homes, sharing dinner, playing cards, watching tv and laughing a lot. We were pregnant at the same time and Sharon and I even made our doctor appts at the same time so I could drive her(I had a car!). Your Dad and I both liked to cook so we had some great meals. Sharon and I were both from Arizona so we became great friends and if I am not mistaken(my memory is going!) Greg and my husband, Brad met when they worked together. I just wanted to write a note to you and let you know what great parents you had...30 yrs later and I still think of them with a smile. That's a great tribute to them. We moved back to Phoenix 28 yrs ago and I just heard about his death, otherwise I would have contacted you sooner. God Bless you. "

"To Greg's family,
Greg was a great classmate of DHS class of '66. I(Brenda) remember him well as a classmate at Middletown Elementary also.He was always so kind, and a great sense of humor.
Words are so inadequate at this time. May God's love and grace be sufficient to meet your daily need for strength as you mourn.
With sincere and heartfelt sumpathy. Herb & Brenda Grinstead (DHS class of '66)"
