Ian Poole wrote on Aug 6, 2010:
"I did not know Bob personally, but I used to work at a cafe where one of his coffee clubs met, and I went to school with his granddaughter. Ames has much to thank because of Bob. It was the neighborhoods he developed that kept many home builders in the area employed, which in turn provided a construction job for myself during two summers I attended ISU. Thank you for all you gave to your country and community Bob. We need more great Americans like you."
