"Lona, I just learned of your mother\'s passing and just want to send my thoughts and prayers. I too, lost my mother this year. I continue to miss her as much as I always knew that I would. Your mom was always so nice and I can remember the two of you stopping by the store \"way back when.\" My thoughts are with you. "

Jim and Darlene Reinig wrote on Aug 23, 2010:

"To the family of LuLu, Jim was the mail carrier for your parents for a long time. He purchased many of eggs from them. After they moved to town and were at the cleaners, I got to know your mother. I love the photo you chose for her obituary. She was truly a beautiful woman and I can see why your dad fell in love with her. You have our sympathy. "

Shannon Quinn Spieker wrote on Aug 21, 2010:

"I will always cherish the fond memories of growing up near Aunt Lula. I can recall after one our first visit to her house asking my mother what the word \"Uff da\" meant as I had never heard anyone use that word before in California! She was an amazing woman and I will miss her dearly. My deepest sympathies."
