Dear Dad, I write this with great sorrow in my heart and tears in my eye's as today we laid to rest my father my hero and my best friend. You were my rock when the ground was shaky the light that guided me when times were dark. I can't even begin to put into words how much you mean to me and how much I love you. You are the perfect example of what a father should be I can only hope to become half the father to my kids that you were to me. So once again thank you for the cherished memories your love and compassion and all the life lessons you taught me and most of all thank you for being the worlds greatest grandpa to my kids. Love Tommy p.s. See you again someday XXOO

Grandpa - I write this with a heavy heart. I really don't think that it has sunk in that you are gone. The past couple of weeks have really been a rollercoaster of emotions. I so badly wish you could be here with us but have peace knowing you are in a better place not suffering anymore. So many memories have recently gone through my mind. Most of the memories take place in Lakefield. Looking back I bet we annoyed the heck out of you with all of us kids there all the time. You were so patient with all of us. Grandpa you always had a smile on your face. Even as an adult, I would still get excited when I was going to see my grandparents. Life is definitely not going to be the same without you. I know you have your faith Grandpa and there is comfort in knowing that. You will be in my heart forever and I only wish my kids could of experienced a fraction of memories that I have. Drew and Mallie will always be reminded of how lucky they are to have had Papa Tom in their lives. I love you grandpa and will miss you more than words can say. You are the strongest man I have ever met. Love, Marsha
