John Martin Frodesen

John Martin Frodesen, 95, passed away peacefully in Seattle, WA on July 24, 2017. He was born in Drummond, Norway on July 30, 1921. John was a General Contractor and served as the past President of the Association of General Contractors, as well as Chairman of the Board for the Western Washington Laborers Health and Welfare Trust. John was also a member of the Sahalee Country Club, The Lakes Country Club, and the Queen City Yacht Club. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Marianne, and his is survived by their six children, John (Liz) Hayden, Julie (Sam) Traff, Jeanne (Scott) Satterlee, John (Theron) Frodesen Jr, Kathy (Brian) Claudon, and F. Paul Frodesen; their eleven grandchildren, Kelly Hayden, Jenna Hayden, Mark Manning, Kristen Manning, Kathryn Jakubek, Carolyn Grandt, Jeff Claudon, Amy Hankins, Sean Frodesen, Michael Frodesen, Wesley Pettit; and seven great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held in his honor on Saturday July 29, 2017 at 1:00pm at Evergreen Memorial park.
