anything to keep himself busy. He died while working on his own truck in his man cave. In the early years he loved going with Lois to dances with his family. Each year they would travel to Lake of the Ozarks to go fishing with family. He enjoyed the chance of winning with lottery scratch tickets, but most of all just being with his kids, grandkids and great grandkids. A song for the funeral is "Grandpa Told me So" because he did.
Those surviving are his wife Lois of 54 years, their four children Theresa, Sheila, Deanna, and David Pals all of Mason City, nine grandchildren, Jessica (Dillon) Angel, Shey Pals, Britany Meyer, Justine (Dre) Guilmant, Brandon Pals, Angelica Post, Joy Nichols, Teagan Pals, and Kaylee Pals, eleven Great Grandchildren, his sister Patty (Ron) Enabnit, Yates Center, KS; brother Ron Pals, Mason City; and sister-in-law Connie Pals, Warsaw, MO, along with many nieces and nephews.
His parents, two sisters Peggy Endress and Wanda Wessels, and two brothers Marvin and Allen Pals preceded Jerry in death.
