Frank M. Coussens DAVENPORT, Iowa--Frank M. Coussens, 94, formerly of New Liberty, died on Saturday, September 10, 2011, at his home at Silvercrest Assisted Living in Davenport. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2011, at the Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 4105 North Division Street, Davenport, Iowa 52806. Burial will take place in St. Patricks Cemetery in Big Rock, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2011, at the Bentley Funeral Home, Durant. Additional visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Frank was born on February 21, 1917, to Camiel and Irma Masschelein Coussens in Butler, Minnesota. He married Margaret M. VanDenBerghe on September 20, 1944, in Big Rock. She preceded him in death on October 27, 2004. He is survived and lovingly remembered by his daughters, Diane Persike and husband, Edward, of Modesto, California, Joyce Anderson and husband, Clifford, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Carol Schult and husband, Gary, of New Liberty, Joanne Rumpza and husband, Edwin, of Princeton, Jane Scheckel and husband, Marty, of Long Grove, and Nancy Miller and husband, Mike, of Omaha, Neb...[more]
