Martin Daniel

Daniel, Martin N.July 19,1929 - August 1, 2011Passed away suddenly at age 82, "Marty" beloved husband of Joan, devoted father to Kimberly Kaplan (Steven) and Gregg Daniel (Leslie Davis), cherished grandfather of Madeline and Gillian Kaplan, brother of Jerome Daniel (Darlene) and brother-in-law to Mina Brown. First Lieutenant in the US Air Force. Practiced law in Los Angeles for 50 years and upon retirement did pro bono work for the LA Court System as a volunteer mediator. He was an active member of CASA (court appointed special advocate), an organization which helps the children's court work with displaced children. Marty loved the ocean and sailing, and was a member and former officer of Del Rey Yacht Club. He was currently serving as president of his homeowner's association. We will all miss his great sense of humor, devotion to family andFu friends and love of life.
