Lillian Ullman died peacefully in her home on July 9, 2009 in Los Angeles, California. Lillian was surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Born in Buffalo, New York to Jack and Minnie Kimmel, she moved to LA in 1953 with her husband Hershel. Lillian volunteered in her cherished community, for her daughters' Brownie troops, the UCLA International Center, and at Los Angeles County Museum of Art. She was a great fan of music, art, classic movies, biographies and the Grove. She saved her deepest affection for her family, including her beloved children Deborah and Ron Pollack of Ventura, Robin and Adam Greenman of Portland, OR, and adoring grandchildren Jessica, Loretta, Marc, Aaron and Eleanor. She will also be deeply missed by her brother Louis along with her many nephews and nieces. Her greatest joy was sitting at the head of her dining room table sharing the love of her beloved family. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Temple Beth Torah in Ventura, CA.
