Rivi Massion

Rivi Massion nee Ourin died October16, 2007 at age 84at home. A native of Toronto, she came to Los Angelesafter WWII to pursue a career in acting and where shemet her husband, Nate. They were was married for 53years prior to his death in 2001. After raising threechildren, Rivi earned a B.A. in Child Development atCal State Northridge. She continued her acting wellinto her seventies and was a proud member of SAG/AFTRA. Rivi was active in numerous charities, politicalelections, and in the arts. She was an advocate forbabies, literacy, Yiddish culture and civilrights. The final matriarch of her family, she leavesbehind her children Mark (Michelle), Lisa, andAndrea, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews,friends, and her devoted caretakers. Rivi is precededin death by her sisters, Ziona and Lottie.
