Carolyn Ruth Goldberg Haber

Born August 16, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, Carolyn, Mother, Sister, Grandmother and Aunt, 76 years young, passed away peacefully at her home Friday morning, July 13th, 2007, surrounded by her family, after a 3 year battle with ALS.Beautiful and young, Carol piloted a Biplane in the early fifties and worked as a model before marrying future Architect and Movie Production Designer, David, in Cincinnati Ohio. They moved west to California in 1959, and filled their home with four children. Carolyn's creative spirit and energy lead her to many jobs and hobbies, such as singing and dancing in local theater, arts and crafts and film production. But her greatest pride was raising her four kids.Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, David Marcus Haber, and survived by her children Robert, Mark, Jill, Dena, and grandson Tyler, Brother George, Nieces Marianne, Kathleen, Susie and Great Nephew Bill.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jewish Healing and Hospice Center of LA, 10573 W.
