August 10, 1925-July 4, 2007Most beloved best friend and husband of Saralee. Father of Diane(Mike)Lanska; step-father of Julie Turkel and Steven(Laura)Turkel; grandfather of Tracy, Jason, Scout, Emily and Cole. Brother of Beatrice(Jack)Hundeford and the late Jean Hoff. Great-grandfather of Kaitlynn.He served in the U.S. Navy in World War II, was involved in the early years of dry lakes auto racing with So-Cal Speed Shop owned by Alex Xydias, who became his life-long friend.
