Homer Francis Vian, age 85 went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Atrium Medical Center. He was born October 19, 1926 in Indiana the son of Homer and Edna Vian. He was an avid photographer and loved to write poetry.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one great grandchild.
Homer is survived by his wife, Aileen, three children, Stephen Vian, Diana Johns, Homer Vian; and a sister, Joan Andrews. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 10:00 AM with Pastor Mike Gray officiating at Baptist Tabernacle in Carlisle. Visitation will be Monday evening from 5-8 PM at the church. Burial will be in Germantown Cemetery.
