Lyndell "Lynde" Marie Wilson

Lyndell "Lynde" Marie Wilson, 59, of West Burlington, died Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington due to complications from diabetes. Born July 28, 1952 in Mount Pleasant, she was the daughter of Donald Clyde Wilson and Ellen Roberta (Jones) Harris. Miss Wilson was a 1971 graduate of Burlington High School. She worked at Vista Bakery for 22 years, retiring in 2000. Miss Wilson was of the Catholic faith. She enjoyed counted cross stitch, computer games, solitare, card games and other games that she played with the residents at the apartment complex. Ragen and Celesta L. Brendel; great nephews, Hunter Hofmann and Adam Lundquist and a great niece, Khloe Lundquist. She was preceded in death by her step father, Howard Harris and sister, Gina Renee Harris. The memorial service for Miss Wilson will be 11 a.m. Friday, February 24th, in Lunning Chapel. Mrs. Deborah Barbeln will officiate. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the time of service. According to Miss Wilson's wishes, cremation has been accorded and inurnment will be at a later date with her grandmother, Edna Lyndell Wilson Weaklend in Forest Home Cemetery, Mt. Pleasant.
