GLENNA SCHULTZ MUSCATINE, Iowa - Glenna M. Schultz, 89, of Muscatine, died on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Bickford Cottage. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend Steven Cauley of the Zion Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will take place in Rock Island National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society. Glenna was born on March 23, 1923, in Muscatine, the daughter of Henry and Maude Wright Bennett. She married Robert C. Schultz on December 28, 1957, in Muscatine. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Ladies V.F.W. She enjoyed cooking, fishing, and her pets. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Robert Schultz of Muscatine; and one son, Michael H. Schultz and wife, Sue, of Muscatine. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Cliff and Ed Bennett.[more]
