EVELYN 'BABE' LIBENGUTH MESA, Arizona - Evelyn 'Babe' Libenguth, 81, a former resident of Muscatine, Iowa, died on Monday, May 21, 2012, in Mesa, Arizona. Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 26, 2012, at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Reverend James Ruberg of Trinity United Methodist Church of Milan, Illinois, will officiate the service. Casket bearers will be her grandchildren. Burial will take place in Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 25, 2012, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson's Foundation. 'Babe' was born on March 14, 1931, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Oliver and Minnie Deman McBride. She married Arthur Libenguth on November 27, 1964, in Muscatine. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2001. She married Ken Samuelson on February 14, 2006, in Apache Junction, Arizona. She had worked for Iowa Electric Light and Power Company, the Batterson's Department Store, Muscatine Community College, and the JC Penney Company. her family. She enjoyed playing cards and dominos. Those left to honor her memory include her husband, Ken Samuelson of Rock Island, Illinois; one son, Mike Beinke and wife, Jan, of Muscatine; three daughters, Sherri Beinke-Harney and husband, Gary, of Cody, Wyoming, Becky Resch and husband, Richard, of Rock Island, Illinois, and Kimberly Libenguth of San Diego, California; one step-son, Robert Samuelson and wife, Donna, of Minneapolis, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Joshua and Zachary Beinke, Jessica and Megan Mohnsen, Bethany Ward, Steven Resch, and Jordan and Ian Figg; nine great-grandchildren, Brayden, Maliyah, Mikhi, Emma, Meadow, Payne, Ella, Jaeon, and Jaonna. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur John Libenguth; one granddaughter, Morgan Elizabeth Resch; her parents; her step-mother, Mary McBride; and one sister, Helen.
