Alice Marie Huse

Alice Marie Huse, 78 of Nevada, died on Sunday, December 2, 2012 at Rolling Green Village in Nevada. Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5 at the First United Methodist Church, 1036 7th Street in Nevada with Deacon Brenda Hobson officiating. Alice was born on October 10, 1934 in Colo to Hiram "Pete" and Irene (Gear) Wright. She was a 1952 graduate of Nevada High School. On July 25, 1952, Alice was united in marriage to Arlo M. Huse in Nevada. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Questers, and the Nevada Historical Society. Alice enjoyed playing bridge. Alice is survived by her husband Arlo Huse of Nevada; two sons, Scott (Barbara) Huse of Sylva, NC and Stuart (Kate) Huse of Nevada; a daughter Stacie (Steve) Funke also of Nevada; six grandchildren Travis Huse, Audrey Huse, Lucas Funke, Meredith Funke, Payton Huse, and Bodie Huse; a brother-in-law, Norman (Deloris) Huse of Indianola; and a sister-in-law Dorothy Huse of Nevada. Alice was preceded in death by her parents and a brother-in-law Carl Huse, Jr. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in loving memory of Alice for the Alzheimer's Association.
